| Notes: This is one of the cars that is used extensively on the Morton Thiokol rocket booster trips, servicing the space shuttle. It is set up for "messengers" to ride in comfort while accompanying the loads in freight service from Utah to Florida. The car then returns to the California Bay Area (where it is based) in Amtrak service to await the next trip.
It has been heavily modified inside, though it does still contain a few of the original bedrooms.
