| Notes: Comments from Jim Eager: Its a one-of-a-kind car, ATSF 89670, class Ft-79, assembled from a Pullman low-level flat and an experimental Pargon trilevel rack in Santa Fe's Topeka Shops in 3-73, making it one of the earliest fully enclosed autoracks. The three end doors slid up and down to expose
one or two decks at a time. A very similar one-off car is shown in Stagner's ATSF Color Guide, ATSF 84384, another Pulllman flat in class Ft-69, enclosed in 1972 with an Evans rack, also with three sliding end doors, and the earliest fully-enclosed autorack I know of. Santa Fe had at least one other one-off enclosed rack, ATSF 88888, an old Ft-31 car that got a bilevel Paragon Rail_Pac in 1975.
